The problem

An Etsy shop page shows its total sales and a grid of listings. It doesn't show which of those listings are selling now, what tags they use, or what buyers keep complaining about. Working that out by hand means opening listings one by one and reading hundreds of reviews.

Etsy shop analyzer report: Etsy's sales count and reviews, and a listing opened to show its tags with trademarked words in red

One shop: Etsy's own numbers first, then its listings by estimated monthly sales, each with its tags.

What you get

See what's selling.

All its active listings (up to 10,000), sorted by estimated monthly sales, with their price, views, favourites and how long they've been listed.

The tags behind each one.

Open any listing in the table to see its tags, trademarked words in red, and copy them without the trademarks.

Etsy's own numbers, and estimates that show their maths.

Total sales, shop age, active listings, reviews and rating as Etsy counts them. Monthly sales and revenue are estimates, labelled, with the sums on the page.

What its buyers complain about.

Its recent reviews of 3 stars or less, grouped into themes and quoted word for word. Where buyers are let down is where your listing can do better.

Watch a shop.

We check its sales count every day and email you a summary: what it actually sold since the last one, its new listings, and the listings whose views grew most. Free accounts watch 1 shop.

Counted where Etsy counts, estimated where it doesn't

Total sales, shop age, listings, reviews and rating come straight from Etsy. Etsy doesn't publish sales per month or per listing, so we work those out from the shop's sales count and its recent reviews, label them as estimates, and print the sums so you can check them. Etsy doesn't give outside tools search volume or search rank, so we don't print either.

Three things to look for in a report

  1. What's new and already selling. The table shows how long each listing has been up. A listing near the top by estimated monthly sales that went up recently tells you what's picking up now, not what has sold steadily for years.
  2. The phrases it leans on. Open the top five and compare their tags. Phrases that repeat across them are what this shop keeps coming back to; a phrase on one listing only is a one-off choice. Trademarked words are already marked red, so you can leave them out when you copy.
  3. Where buyers are let down. If the same complaint keeps coming back in its low-star reviews, that's something your own listing can answer up front, in the photos or the description.

A shop or one listing

Paste You get
A shop link or name Every active listing (up to 10,000) sorted by estimated monthly sales, Etsy's own totals for the shop, and the complaint themes from its low-star reviews. A report is 5 credits.
A listing link (free account) That listing's views, favourites, price, time listed, estimated monthly sales, search score, tags with trademark flags, and its reviews.
A shop, without an account The shop's numbers and its top 3 listings by estimated monthly sales. 3 previews a day.

How it works

  1. Paste a shop link or shop name. Or paste a listing link to look at one listing.
  2. See what's selling: the table starts with the listings with the highest estimated monthly sales.
  3. Open the top ones: their tags, their prices, and what their buyers complain about.
  4. Use it on your own listings. Don't copy: see what buyers want and where they're let down, then check your listing before you publish, or write a new one.

FAQ

How do I see how many sales an Etsy shop has?

Etsy shows a shop's total sales on its shop page, under the shop name. Paste the shop here to go further: which listings are selling now, roughly how many a month, and the tags behind them.

Are the monthly sales exact?

No, and the page says so. Etsy publishes one running sales count per shop. We estimate monthly sales from it and from the shop's recent reviews, and show the maths next to each figure.

Is it free?

The Free plan includes 20 credits a month and a report costs 5, so you get 4 free reports a month. Reopening the same report within 24 hours doesn't charge again, and watching a shop uses no credits.

Can I look at one listing instead of a whole shop?

Yes. Paste a listing link to see its views, favourites, price, how long it's been listed, estimated monthly sales, SEO score, tags with trademark flags, and its reviews.

How are the complaint themes made?

We take the reviews of 3 stars or less from the shop's latest 1,000 reviews. When there are at least 10, a language model groups them by topic; the grouping is the model's reading of real reviews, and the quotes are copied word for word. With fewer than 10, we show the latest 5 as written.

Can I analyze my own shop?

Yes. It works on any active Etsy shop, including yours.

How current is a report?

It reads the shop's listings and reviews when you run it, which is why a big shop can take a minute or more. To follow a shop over time, watch it: we check its sales count every day and email you a summary of what changed.

Can I use it for keyword research?

It's tag research rather than keyword research. You see the phrases that listings in a real shop use, and which of them are trademarked. You don't see how often a phrase is searched, because Etsy doesn't share that with outside tools.

Will the shop know I looked?

We never contact the shop or leave anything on Etsy. A report only reads the shop's public listings and reviews.
