Etsy Copycat Checker: Find Out Who Else Is Selling Your Design

Drop a listing photo and see which shops and marketplaces are using it, grouped into exact copies, same design and look-alikes. If you want to report one, the letter is written for you.

The problem

A design takes you an evening or a month. Taking it takes a right-click. And the worse outcome is reporting the wrong person: they bought the same stock art you did, and the one who looks bad is you.

Etsy copycat checker results grouped into exact copies, same design and look-alikes

Every match is sorted: "Your artwork on their page", "Looks like the same design", "Same kind of product".

What you get

One photo, one answer.

Upload it and it's checked. Nothing to connect, nothing to set up. We compare the image, not the keywords, so a listing with a completely different title still turns up.

Exact copies first.

Results come in three groups: "Your artwork on their page", "Looks like the same design", "Same kind of product". Someone who bought the same stock art as you lands in "Looks like the same design", not "Your artwork on their page", and once you add the sources you bought or licensed to your allow list, they stop showing up.

Not just Etsy.

A reverse image search across the web, with matches grouped by marketplace: eBay, Amazon, Redbubble, Temu and more.

Watched for you, if you want it.

Connect your shop, pick the listings and photos worth watching, and turn on weekly or monthly rescans. You get an email only when something new appears.

Report letter written, and where to send it.

For any match, a report letter written for that case, plus that marketplace's reporting route.

Three kinds of match, three next steps

  • Your artwork on their page. Your own image on someone else's page. This is the strongest case for a report: open the match for a letter written for it and that marketplace's reporting route.
  • Looks like the same design. Often two shops selling the same licensed graphic or stock art, or the same vintage piece. Check where your design came from before you report anyone. If you bought or licensed it, add that source to your allow list and those matches stop showing up.
  • Same kind of product. Close in a thumbnail, but a different item. It stays on record so you can see it was checked, not as grounds for a report.

A verdict you can check

What we show is what we measured: how similar, and on which marketplace. The verdict is your starting point, not your decision. After every scan we tell you which photos couldn't be checked and why, so a quiet result never means we didn't look.

How it works

  1. Drop a photo, or connect your shop and tick the listings to watch.
  2. Read the results: three groups, which marketplaces, how similar.
  3. On a "Your artwork on their page" match, open the report letter and the submission route.

Keep watching

A single check tells you about today. To keep an eye on the designs that matter, connect your shop, pick the listings and the photos worth watching, and turn on weekly or monthly rescans. You get an email only when something new appears, so a quiet week sends nothing.

FAQ

How many checks are free?

5 a month. A photo check uses 4 credits, and the Free plan includes 20 a month. Basic covers 125 photos a month, Pro 2,500.

Does it change anything in my Etsy shop?

No. Copycat only reads your listings and photos. It never changes anything on Etsy.

Do you keep my photos?

Files from "Check a photo" are not kept after the check.

Will people who bought the same stock art show up?

They will, but as "Looks like the same design", not "Your artwork on their page". Add your stock sources to the allow list and they disappear.

Do you file the report for me?

No. We write the letter and point you to where it goes. Sending it is your call.

Can I try it without an account?

Yes. Drop one photo and you see the first 3 matches, up to 2 photos a day. The file isn't kept after the check. Sign in free to see every match.

Which marketplaces does it cover?

It runs a reverse image search across the web and groups the matches by marketplace, including Etsy, eBay, Amazon, Redbubble and Temu.
